The ASSEMBLER, the configuration tool for our outlet boxes, utilizes so-called macros, small programs that simplify the useful features and ease the operation. Among others, the macros are used to copy the image elements of the
ASSEMBLER. Depending on the security settings in your Excel installation, it might be restricted to run macros or not possible.
When opening the assembler the following security advisory might appear:
Please click "Enable macros" to use the full functionality of the tool.

After successful activation of macros should now appear for a short time the splash screen, and all the functions to be usable.

The picture shows a default setting, which eliminates macros as the described above. .

You now have the option to allow all macros now. We can NOT recommend this setting, as many viruses work with macros and thus the data security on your computer is compromised. A safe transition from Excel is described on the next
page.

It is recommended to save the ASSEMBLER to a so-called trusted location. Please proceed as follows:
In general, the public folder / My Documents from a computer is set up by default as trusted locations. Here the data are
under constant control of the installed antivirus software. If necessary, click Add new location and select the folder where the ASSEMBLER is safed to.

Click the Browse button to display the folders on your computer.

Select the desired location of the ASSEMBLER and confirm with OK

Now, please make your macro security settings in the manner shown and click OK.
Now you have all the features of the ASSEMBLER available.
