Honolulu Biennial is a celebration of contemporary art! On display will be works by international contemporary artists alongside local artists, emphasizing Hawai‘i’s notable, but under-recognized artistic contributions on a global platform. This 2-month long event will highlight Honolulu as a fresh destina-tion for international and national arts and culture visitors, fostering a cultural awakening and repositioning our city as central to the Pacific-wide growth of arts, technology, and commerce. Mayor Kirk Caldwell and the City and County of Honolulu are proud to support this multi-venue exhibit, with Honolulu Hale and Foster Botanical Garden acting as host locations for work.
