Open Afternoon with Housing Solutions

We are pleased that Housing Solutions Neighbourhood Officers, Adam Massingham and Becky Wray are going to be joining us at our next Open Afternoon. The next Open Afternoon will take place in Wokingham library cafe

Topping Out Ceremony On Tuesday 8th March the official Topping Out Ceremony took place at Warren Close. This event was hosted by WAHS and Housing Solutions, to celebrate the huge achievement of all the people involved in getting the buildings so near to completion. There were people there representing the architects, the project managers, the construction team, as well as Housing Solutions and WAHS. Not to mention a right collection of photographers! We had access to the first carpeted flat, which was so nearly finished. It is likely that this will become the show flat, and as soon as viewings are permitted we will let you know so you can go and see what a new home may look like for you.

There were speeches and a toast was made to the timely completion of the new development, plus the happiness of all the future residents. There was a real air of excitement on the site and the workmanship that we were able to see, was outstanding in its quality. We know you’ll be impressed too.

It was also quite amazing to think that the next big event will be the Grand Opening! It won’t be long now before the buildings will be finished and the landscaping done, I think we are looking at about 9 weeks. After the completion there will be a couple of weeks for snagging and then we are hopeful that Warren Close will be ready for its residents to move in. We have had a good response to our advertising so we are hoping that before long all the flats will be occupied, and Warren Close will become a hive of activity once again.
