A Message From the Editors As most of you know by now, we have recently taken on the task of sending out the COT newsletter and we thank you for your patience while we navigate the publishing world. Moving forward, the monthly newsletters will be sent out the first of every month and include all activities, advertisements, and observances you would normally find in the weekly notifications. In the future, we would like to include columns from COT leadership and snippets from our members. We hope that this newsletter serves to connect with our fellow members and look forward to documenting the wonderful people within our community. All submissions must be received no later than the 15th of the month preceding the desired publication issue. The COT Havurah is in the process of creating a cookbook that will be published in the fall. We welcome submissions from anyone willing to share a favorite recipe. Remember to include any family history that goes with the recipe. It's those personal stories that will make our cookbook special. We are especially looking for traditional Jewish holiday recipes. Other categories for consideration are: Appetizers and Beverages Brunch Breads Gluten Free Soups Salads Meatless Main Dishes and Sides Fish, Meat, and Poultry Cakes, Pies, and Desserts Cookies and Candies Passover and Other Holidays

• submit recipes (either in Word or directly as an email) to lesliebmoss@yahoo.com • include total time for prep and cooking in the directions • include the number of servings in the directions • although a recipe can include meat and dairy, we're not including recipes with pork or shell fish • if you have a personal story or photo to accompany the recipe, please consider including it • please understand that if several similar recipes are submitted by different people we will include

just one recipe, but give all people credit and include variations to the recipe • we will be proofreading and editing carefully, but ask that you proofread your recipe(s) very
