The Washing of Feet – Washing of Feet
is an integral part of Holy Thursday. I invite you to be a
part of this ritual. We need 12 persons. If you wish to
participate, please call Father John at 724-238-6434 or
you can leave a message with Addy, the parish secretary.
Also on Holy Thursday there will be a Supper served
after the 6:00 PM evening Mass. We need help
with setting up and cleaning up. You can leave a
message by calling the rectory office.
On Holy Thursday the Altar of Repose will be in the
Reconciliation Room. The Church will remain open
until 11:00 PM. You are invited to spend an hour, or
what time you have, on this most blessed of evenings.
Like Jesus, it is a good time to turn to the Lord and ask
for help in your difficult times and decisions.

EASTER BASKETS FOR THOSE
LESS FORTUNATE
Could you help someone less fortunate this
Easter season? Community Service will be
preparing Easter food baskets for those in
need on Palm Sunday, March 25 and we need your
help. Community service will provide a complete Easter
meal but we would like to provide these families with
some additional non-perishable groceries during these
difficult times.
Some suggestions for non-perishable food items
(but not limited to): canned soups and fruits, peanut
butter, jelly, macaroni & cheese, cereal, Pop Tarts,
cereal bars, pancake mix & syrup, pasta sauce, cookie,
brownie or cake mix, bagged snacks (chips, pretzels, etc.)
To insure the safety of our recipients, please check the
expiration dates on your donated food. We do not want
to give anyone food that has expired.
Please bring your grocery items to the church this
weekend. All items must be brought to the church by 11
AM on Sunday (March 25) in order for us to distribute
the baskets right after mass.
Your help in making someone’s Easter a happy one is
greatly appreciated!
A reminder: There will be no Children’s Liturgy this Sunday
( Palm Sunday) or Easter Sunday, April 1.
Children’s Liturgy will resume on April 8.

The Pontifical Good Friday Collection
Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontif-
ical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the
Holy Land.
Your support helps the church minister in parishes,
provide Catholic schools and offer religious education.
The Pontifical Good Friday Collection also helps to
preserve the sacred shrines.
The wars, unrest and instability have been especially
hard on Christians. In these times of crisis, the Pontifical
Good Friday Collection provides humanitarian aid to
refugees.
When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday
Collection, you become an instrument of peace and join
with Catholics around the world in solidarity with the
Church in The Holy Land. Please be generous!
