PTO SCHOLARSHIP The PTO will be granting four $1,000 scholarships to graduating Seniors who plan to continue their education at a university, junior college or vocational school and whose parents are PTO members. Applications are available in the College and Career Office, on the school website and on Naviance. Applications must be postmarked by Monday, April 16, 2018.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors - Would you like to be involved in the “Saints Helping Hawks” Tutoring Program? We need more tutors to help at Wredling on Tuesday and Thursdays from 3:15-4:30 p.m. Stop by the Student Activities Office and talk to Mrs. Dandre today if you’d like to read over a contract and join as a tutor.

What grades were on your progress report? Is homework stressing you out? Wouldn’t it be nice if someone was available to help you with your assignments? Do you want to stay on track with your 4 year plan/23 credits? Wouldn’t it be nice to work here at school in a quiet, supportive atmosphere? Join Homework Club for help on assignments in all subject areas! The club is open 2:30-3:45PM on Tuesday, Wednesdays (non Early Release) and Thursdays. WEIGHT ROOM & CARDIO CAGE The cardio cage will be open Monday - Friday 2:45-4:00 PM. The weight room is open every school day from 2:30 - 3:45 PM! Students must wear proper attire to participate in this activity. Feel free to come out and work out!

SAINTS REMEMBERING SAINTS WALK-A-THON On Sunday, March 18, Student Council will sponsor a Walk-a-thon in honor of Brittany Coffland, Tiffany Coffland, and Kody Dietrich. This event, Saints Remembering Saints, will occur from 1:00-3:00 in the Sports Complex. We will end the walk with a balloon launch outside the complex. T-shirts will be available in the Main Commons for ten dollars each during lunch hours from Monday, March 5 to Friday, March 16. Wear your t-shirt as your ticket into the Walk-a-thon; otherwise, a $5 donation is recommended. Money raised will fund three memorial benches outside Door 39. Please join us on March 18 in honoring and remembering Brittany, Tiffany and Kody.

NBHS PROJECT: CAREER CLOSET The National Business Honors Society presents the second annual “Career Closet”. We will be collecting new and gently used professional clothing to be donated to underprivileged job seekers in our community. Drop off bins will be located in the main foyer and LRC between now and Friday, March 16. Please check your closets and ask your friends and family to help. Please note: we will not be accepting shoes. Thank you for your support. Contact the Business Education department or any NBHS member for more information.

EAST JOINS ST. BALDRICK’S AT ANDERSON ELEMENTARY Join us on Friday, March 16, at Anderson Elementary School for a special St. Baldrick's event. See teachers Mr. Jonathan Kittl, Mr. Neil Currie and Mr. Jarod Gutesha get their heads shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research! The event is 6:00-9:00 p.m. and admission is free.

Starting today, vote for your favorite "Shavee" by donating in the jars located in the LRC or School Store at East. Our goal is $2,000 "a head" for Mr. Kittl, Mr. Currie and Mr. Gutesha to shave! All LRC fines (excluding textbook fines) collected through March 16 will be donated to the jar of your choice. We'd like to beat last year's donation of $5,825.12.
