UCSB at the Manor!The Ice Cream Social & Valentine’s Dance Bring Them OutUCSB students regularly come volunteer at the Manor but they most love to join in at our three yearly dances and at the Ice Cream Socials. Unity Shoppe – Free Presents! Local non-profit Unity Shoppe offers each Manor Resident the opportuni-ty to get a free present for their birthday and for Christmas. When your birthday month is approaching, look for the form in your mailbox, fill out the Unity Shoppe form complete-ly, and return it to the Front Desk before the deadline. It’s that simple to participate in this great program. (Birthday presents are passed out on Birth-day Night Dinner, the third Wednesday of the month).

Manor Library – A Handy Resource For many years, Jude George took the lead in keeping the Library (on the second floor opposite Jamison Hall) in good shape. It’s taken a long time for us to get such a great se-lection of books, but they still need to be re-shelved regu-larly. If any Resident is interested in taking over the task, please see Betty Chackel – the Resident Resource Commit-tee she chairs is overseeing the Library.

Corner Store – Come Volunteer See Eileen, Jason, Paula or Bonnie to volunteer at the Corner Store.All profits from every pur-chase go to fund movies in Jamison Hall, live entertain-ment, the B Lounge TV and wi-fi, and much more.
