Introduction From The Head

Welcome to Woodbridge School. When you visit, you will be struck immediately by the strong sense of community that exists here. It is a caring school characterised by a purposeful and calm environment where each pupil is valued and nurtured holistically.

There is no typical Woodbridge pupil in outcome – we celebrate the fact that our children’s characters, talents and interests span a wide and diverse range. The emphasis of the School is very much on supporting each pupil to discover their own unique blend of strengths and then enabling them to excel in those areas, ensuring that they emerge happy, confident and well balanced.

The School is part of the Seckford Foundation which also runs the Seckford Care, the Seckford Education Trust (currently comprising of five schools), and sponsors initiatives such as apprenticeships, a mentoring scheme and a grants programme.

Being part of such a broad ranging charity is an exciting aspect of the job and brings governors with a tremendous range of experiences. Bespoke care is at the heart of what we do. Great care is taken in selecting our staff: those who work with our young people are known for their ability, enthusiasm and positive approach. I am immensely proud of our community’s spirit and the strong sense of cooperation that exists between parents and staff.

We are now looking to appoint an experienced Marketing and Events Manager to lead the development and strategic marketing plan for Woodbridge School, to continue to optimise pupil recruitment, conversion and retention.
