NEWSLETTER

Dear Parent/Carer

Preparations are in full swing for December’s Christmas activities.

The MSA team are busy putting together the amazing hamper raffle

prizes for the draw at the Fair next Friday. Class 4 are planning their

enterprise games and Mrs Rowe is taking bookings – via the school

office – for the Senior Citizens’ Christmas lunch on Wednesday 4th

December.

Today a team of Marwood Church volunteers talked to the children

going on in classes with new displays of children’s work up. There is

one more sporting event on Monday 2nd when 40 children from

Classes 3 and 4 are representing the school at an Ilfracombe

swimming competition. I wish them the very best.

Mrs Cohen would love to hear from the children about

their favourite place to read.

Over the holidays, please take a photo of your child

reading.

Send it into school with your child after Christmas or

email it to Mrs Cohen at [email protected]

There will be a prize for the most interesting or unusual

place to read and we will display as many of the photos as

we can in the school library.

Don’t forget – books make great Christmas presents,

whether it be stories, reference, poems, puzzles,

activities, an annual or cookbook. Have fun reading and a

happy holiday!
