This month, we celebrate Black History
Month and honor the culture of our brothers and sisters. We remember the legacy of those
who came before us – who not only paved the way but carried the bricks on broken backs that then built that road. We remember the
songs, stories, and fiery hope of old men and little girls, granny midwives and marvelous musicians, great orators and lead-
ers, entrepreneurs and innova-tors.
God, help us to value diversity be-yond variety. Help us value diver-
sity with a vision for a progressive future that acknowledges our
strength together as well as the creativity, ideas, and part that we all bring when we are all welcome
– to come to the table and taste and see that the Lord is good.
Heavenly Father, source of all ho-liness, You raise up within every
age men and women who serve with heroic love and dedication. You have blessed Your Church through the
life and ministry of Your faithful warriors. They have written, inspired, and spoken well of Your Divine Son, Jesus Christ, and true
instruments of the Holy Spirit in touching the hearts of countless people. Give us more
love for all, more faith, courage and peace. We are reminded of the words of James Wel-
don Johnson, we are “Shadowed beneath Thy hand, May we forever stand. True to our
God, True to our native land.” Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord. We offer this prayer in Jesus Mighty Name and for His glo-
ry, Amen.

Live Stations of the Cross
The Live Stations of the Cross is a Lenten
practice that for many years has been kept
by the Hispanic community here in Santa
Agatha. Unfortunately we stopped doing it
because we did not have people who could
commit or interested in participating in this
tradition that Is a form of prayer accompa-
nied by meditation on the events that oc-
curred on that path of Christ.
This year we want to re-take this tradition again with
your help. We are requesting committed people who want
to participate and take on the different roles within the
Stations of the Cross. The rehearsals are scheduled for
Thursday, from 7:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m. .

Viacrucis en Vivo
El Viacrucis en Vivo (Camino de la Cruz) es un practica Cuaresmal que por muchos años ha mantenido la comunidad en español aquí en Santa Agatha. Pero paramos de ha-cerlo porque no hemos tenido personas que estén interesados/as en participar en esta tradición que es una forma de oración acompañada de meditación, sobre los acon-tecimientos ocurridos en ese camino de Cristo.
Este año deseamos re-tomar nuevamente esta tradición, pero necesitamos de la ayuda de ustedes. Estamos solici-tando personas comprometidas que quieran participar en los diferentes papeles que hay dentro del Viacrucis. Los ensayos los hemos programados para los días jueves de 7:00 p.m.—900 p.m.
