MASTER CLASS PERFORMING ARTS Disney’s High School Musical!

Auditions for actors and actresses of any age are scheduled for Saturday, February 23 beginning at 6:00pm at the Electric City Barn, 400 Craig Street,

Schenectady. Applicants should come prepared to perform 32 measures of any Broadway song, and complete a dance audition. An accompanist will be

available. NO ACAPELLA OR CD AUDITIONS will be permitted.

Please keep in mind that we provide several forms that must be completed prior to the audition. If you are under the age of 18 a parent must accompany

you to the audition in order to fill out the forms and sign the paperwork.

Disney's High School Musical Tuition: $300.00

Performance Dates: June 6 - 8, 2019

Rehearsal Dates: Rehearsals to be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays commencing May 2.

All Student Roles Available!

We ask for a $50.00 non refundable deposit at the time of audition. This deposit will be deducted from overall tuition amount.

*Tuition applies to students age 18 and under.

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW

Morgan Rogers (Crystal) is thrilled to be in Master Class Performing Art’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. Other MCPA productions Morgan has appeared in include Annie (“Pepper” and others), Newsies (Mike and others),

Wonderland (Red Knight and others), and Madagascar (Gloria). She also recently performed in her school’s produc-

tion of Oklahoma (Fred and Dance Captain) with Mohon Masque. Morgan also dances with Ferrara’s Dance Studio where she has been performing in ballet and pointe for nine years. She also has experience with tap, jazz, contempo-

rary, and gymnastics. Morgan works to improve her singing skills in both her schools concert choir and the select

group choir and has been a percussionist for three years. In her spare time… wait! She doesn’t have any spare time!

Benjamin Strodl (Seymour Krelborn) is a 7th grader at Goff Middle School. His recent stage credits include, Beauty and the Beast (Chip), Elf Jr. (Michael), Hairspray (IQ), Newsies (Les), and Annie (Rooster). He is honored to

be given the chance to play this role. He would like to thank Andrew and Kelly for all they’ve done to make this

show possible. He would also like to thank his parents for allowing him to do this.

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW Lacey Allen (Chiffon) is 16 years old and a sophomore at Guilderland high school. She began her love for theatre in

the Ensemble of Oklahoma! and Peter Pan at Farnsworth Middle School. She played the role of Jukes the Pirate in

Peter Pan Junior with Broadway Sings Young Artist Program. She joined Master Class Performing Arts last year

and has performed in Sleepy Hollow, Willy Wonka, Elf, Jr. She played Penny Pingleton in Hairspray, Alice in Won-

derland, Buttons in Newsies and Lily in Annie. She also performed as the Stepmother in SYFI’s production of Into the Woods. Lacey is thrilled to be performing at Lincoln Center in The Scarlet Pimpernel in February. In addition to

singing and acting Lacey enjoys volunteering for and with people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. She

loves working with Andrew and Kelly and her Master Class family and is super appreciative of the love and support she gets from all of them.

Phoebe Amirault (Ronette) is an eighth grader at O’Rourke Middle School who loves to play field hockey, lacrosse

and practice archery when she is not performing. Favorite previous credits include: HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSI-

NESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING (Secretary), LION KING JR. (Sarafina) with Park Playhouse; ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (Nellie Oakley) with Schenectady Light Opera; and THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Sailor Ancestor), with

Saratoga Children's Theatre. Phoebe also enjoys doing background acting for Film and TV. Favorite credits include:

Bo Burnham's EIGHTH GRADE (MS Student) and Ben Stiller's ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA (Daughter at King's Wok). Thank you MCPA for your “offer of fortune and fame, love and money and instant acclaim” and to everyone

that worked so hard to make LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS so much fun. She sends hugs to her many teachers,

friends and family. Enjoy the show, but don’t feed the plants!

Hailey Auster (Audrey II) has performed in several Capital District area musicals including (as Tracy Turnblad) Hairspray, Newsies (Medda Larkin), Annie (Lily St. Regis), Suessical (Bird Girl), 13 (Molly), Wonderland, Willy

Wonka (Grandma Georgia) Sleepy Hollow (Abby and Rustic Lad #3), Madagascar, Legally Blonde, The Little Mer-

maid, Peter Pan, Jonah and the Whale (as Jonah), Noah and the Ark, and Moses and the Freedom Fanatics. She is an 8th grader at Van Antwerp Middle School in Niskayuna, and plays on the modified field hockey team and sings in

the choir. She would like to thank Andrew, Kelly and all the parent helpers at MCPA who help to organize these

great shows. And she really really really wants to thank her parents for all the rides to and from rehearsals.

Bella Dupont (Audrey) is a sophomore at Columbia HS who has been performing for almost 8 years. Most recently, Bella played the part of the Witch in Into the Woods (SYFI). She is excited to be a part of this wonderful cast in her

first show at MCPA. She would like to thank her friends and family for their endless love and support. (@bel-

Aliza Gandhi (Ronnette) is a junior at Emma Willard School and has been involved in theater for nine years. Some

of her recent roles include Barfee in Spelling Bee (Emma Willard School) and Ms. Tottendale in Drowsy Chaperone

(Debuts Theater Company). She is so happy to be involved in her first show MCPA with the wonderful cast and

crew and would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her.

Rachel Guyer (Mrs. Mushnik) is 15 and a sophomore at Guilderland High School. Other than acting, she enjoys dance and being on the youth worship team at her local church. Select credits include: Grandma Joephine (Roald

Dahl’s Willy Wonka), Brenda (Hairspray),Mrs Mayor (Seussical the Musical), Miss Hannigan (Annie). She would

like to thank the production crew and cast for a great experience, her wonderful friends,and her mom for being so supportive of her passion for the arts.

Alexia Halsey (Director) is a critic by birth and a director by request. Also cares greatly about acting.

Kelly Jaeger (Producer) is ecstatic to be joining the production team of, Little Shop of Horrors. Previous theatrical credits include: Annie, Disney’s Newsies, Seussical, Hairspray, Elf Jr., Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, Sleepy Hollow the

Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Aida the

Musical and several others. No, not on stage, but as a stage mom (very similar to Dance Moms, if Andrew was Abby Lee Miller, but not in jail). She would like to thank you for coming to the show and congratulate her beautiful

daughter, Zoe Jaeger.

Zoe Jaeger (Audrey) is a freshman at Columbia High. Zoe loves performing on stage and has been doing so since the age of 6. Besides anything to do with theatre Zoe loves to play soccer, hang out with friends and dog sitting! She

would like to thank Andrew for all of his love support and rides to rehearsal. Her Queenie and Aunt Naomi for al-

ways coming to her shows showing their love and support. Zoe would like to thank her mom for all the love and sup-port for always being there to encourage her and for helping with all the shows! Without her none of this could have

happened! I love you mom! Thank you for being my biggest fan!

Leah John (Mrs. Mushnik) is 13 years old and in the 8th grade at Myers Middle School. She enjoys lacrosse, bas-

ketball, and playing the saxophone. Some of her favorite roles include Florinda (Into the Woods), Irving (Sleepy Hol-low the Musical), ensemble (Tuck Everlasting), Charlotte Dennon (Elf the Musical), Little Inez (Hairspray), Specs

(Disney's Newsies), and Grace Farrell (Annie). She would like to thank her family for their love and support.

Kathryn Legasse (Bernstein and others) is a 16 year old and is a sophomore at Shenendehowa High School. She

has performed in many shows with Master Class Performing Arts. She even had her first lead with MCPA, which was Troubadour in Wonderland. In addition to singing and acting, Kathryn likes to do gymnastics occasionally

whenever she has time, which is rare. She would like to thank everyone in the show and her family ily all she says.

Noël Paul-Lyman (Crystal) is very excited to be in this production of Little Shop of Horrors. Her previous credits

include Miss Hannigan in Annie, Medda Larkin in Newsies, White Queen and Tweedle Dee in Wonderland and much more. Noël's hobbies include writing, art, listening to music, and playing the ukulele. She would like to thank

her family and friends for their endless support.

Jesse Mathis (Seymour Krelborn) is thirteen years old and in 8th grade at Draper Middle School. In addition to

acting, Jesse enjoys singing, playing percussion, Boy Scouts and doing TaeKwonDo. Recent credits include Okla-homa, Jr. (The Peddler/Ali Hakim), Madagascar, Jr. (Marty), and Alice in Wonderland, Jr. (The White Rab-

bit). Jesse would like to thank the production cast and crew for all their wonderful work and his family for being

very supportive.

Chad Miller (Orin Scrivello DDS) is a 19-year-old young man, going to Schenectady County Community College. He is so excited to be working with Master Class again. He does, in fact, like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the

rain. Previous shows he has been in include Seussical (Horton), Annie (Mr. Oliver Warbucks), Sleepy Hollow

(Ichabod Crane) and many others.

Justin Osborne (Ensemble) is 11 years old and in 6th grade at Farnsworth Middle School. He joined Master Class Performing Arts during the production of Willy Wonka and has since had roles in Hairspray (Fender), Seussical

(JoJo), Madagascar (King Julien), Newsies (Les/Romeo) and has performed in many cabarets. He is super excited to

play the role of Eddie in Mamma Mia! In his spare time, he likes to hang out with his friends. He would like to thank Andrew, Kelly and his MCPA family for their support and encouragement.

Fiona Phelps (Chiffon) is a freshman at Chatham High School. She was seen most recently as Race in MCPA’s

production of Newsies. Some of her favorite roles include Adelaide (Guys & Dolls Jr.), Pepper (Annie), Dragon

(Shrek Jr.), and Kendra (13!). Fiona is a competitive dancer with Columbia Elite Allstars. She would like to thank MCPA for this opportunity!

George Phelps (Orin Scrivello DDS) is excited to be part of this production of Little Shop of Horrors! Favorite past roles include: Pulitzer (Newsies), Mr. Banks (Mary Poppins), Farquaad (Shrek), and Fagin (Oliver!). Thanks to

the cast and crew for this wonderful experience! SAY AH!

Tanya Phelps (Choreographer) Owner of Columbia Elite Allstars- a dance, cheer, and tumbling studio in Hudson,

NY. Current director of Valatie Youth Theatre in Valatie, NY. Winner of numerous choreography awards including a TANYS award for Upstage Productions performance of Alice in Wonderland, JR. Directing credits: Never Grow

Up Cabaret, Broadway Here I Come Cabaret, Aristocats Kids, Aladdin Jr., 13! the musical, Honk Jr., Villain Caba-
