* Aim of the activities book To provide one source of evidence for the assessment committee that you attained

the desired level of competency required to gain the degree.

In this book you will document all academic, practical and other experiences and

skills you attained during your training.

* Sections of the book

1- Section I: • This book is composed of 10 modules, for each one you must fulfill

the requirements illustrated in it.

• After accomplishment of the requirements for each module, you must

ask for assessment from at least3 of the evaluator staff nominated for

each module in Appendix I

o Grades: A: clear pass B: borderline pass

C: clear fail You need at least 2 with clear pass grade

• You will be eligible for formal written and oral exam if you fulfill the

requirements for all the modules and have been assessed by the staff.

2- Section II: Miscellaneous and other relevant activities • Do not forget to document all other activities you have participated in it in

this section.

• Appendix I: evaluator Staff list : you should select at least 3 for assessment

in each module

• Appendix II: Deceleration which is a basic requirement for formal exam

both written and oral and must be signed from Head of the department

evaluator staffs of the relevant module (you must ask them to supply you with the titles or

Requirements: 1. Attend 75% of lectures

2. Summer Field work: N.B. all these requirements are requested every summer Field work occurring during the period of enrolment:

a. Participate in at least 1 different tasks of the preparatory phase for

the summer camp such as: grouping of students, site visits,

preparing the drugs and drug lists, preparing the accommodation

site/clinic sites, preparing the time schedule for staff and assistant

staff participating in the camp……etc

b. Assist in at least 1 orientation session

c. Conduct one orientation session

d. Attend at least 4 days (one accommodation – 2 regular outpatient

clinic- one return back day) full duty in day activities in each

summer field work occurring during the period of enrolment

e. Assist in preparation of at least 2 reports and attend at least 2

closing ceremonies

f. Be responsible for at least 2 over night duties per summer field

work occurring during the period of enrolment.

3. Supervise at least 10 undergraduate students’ visits to the rural health

units during the period of enrolment.
