My magazine

SONUS

I have chosen the name ‘Sonus’ for my magazine, meaning ‘sound’ in Latin.

I have also chosen to use the slogan, “Music to the Eyes” which will appear immediately under my masthead when I create my magazine. I feel

this slogan works really well, as a magazine is something that will be read (the eyes), but in

this particular case it’s all about music.

I have chosen relatively simple fonts for my masthead and ones which will work well with my minimalist, poster style design. I

particularly like the serif typeface and think this is something which will

work well with my magazine and overall

style of it. It will also be consistent with the

Latin word I am using for the name.
