Attendance is CrucialMissing instruction = Absent

Participation = Present

When students are having a hard time logging in, they need to contact the office in order for it to count towards their attendance, even if they submit work.

The district is not offering independent study or Saturday school to make up absences.

Live Sessions via Google Meet Live sessions will be held daily, Monday-Friday. Daily attendance is crucial to the student’s success. Missing a live teaching session is the same as missing a day of school. If students are unable to attend a live teaching session, they will need to email me priorto the session. They can schedule a 15-minute session with the teacher during office hours to review information that was missed; however, this will not be an opportunity to re-teach lessons for the day.

Distance Learning Student Expectations Have a consistent working space in your home where you can sit down and focus for an extended period of time that is free of distractions such as high traffic areas in your house, pets and television.

Students should not share their login information, meeting links, or passwords with others (parents are an exception).

School and classroom rules apply to the virtual instruction environment.

Students who use inappropriate language, share inappropriate images, or in any way behave inappropriately on a video conference will be subject to appropriate discipline
