OBJECTIVE: To obtain a position in a role using the skills I have acquired over my career in the industry as a Network
Analyst and during my education in the Computer Systems course at SAIT.
SKILLS: Setup and manage Windows Server 2008-2016 including Active Directory, GPO, Exchange 2007-
2016, DNS, DHCP, SQL Database, WDS, Sharepoint 2013, Microsoft Office 2007-2016.
Monitor and manage network devices such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Access Points, including Fortigate, Cisco and Sonicwall devices.
Install, manage and update Cloud based and on premises Spam Filters, Cloud based and on premises Anti Virus managers, Cloud based and on premises Backup managers with a variety of physical devices, including Barracuda, Symantec, McAfee, GFI.
Work on creating efficient and effective scripts and tools to better improve my efficiency of day to day tasks as well as improve the security of the servers.
Check up on existing hardware and software to ensure it is up to security and performance standards, as well as upcoming hardware and software to see if the improvements would be a worthwhile investment.
Maintains a high level of communication to all levels of staff in the company to ensure the best possible customer service to keep within SLAs, as well as working with outside vendors, such as Dell, HP and Lenovo, to get the support necessary.
Document new procedures and update existing documentation to a standardized level.
Consistently learn via online courses and technical documents to keep up with the fast pace of the industry and ensure I have the best answers to any issues that arise.

Manage multiple servers with many different roles/services installed, such as Active Directory, Advanced GPO, Exchange, File Server, Remote Desktop Gateway, Sharepoint, Lync, and more.
Monitor Spam Filters, Anti Virus, Backups and Firewalls on a regular basis to proactively prevent issues as well as test backups regularly to ensure they are in working order.
Work with the clients face to face, over the phone, or with remote technologies on desktop issues as well as working with mobile and desktop phones.
Work with the team to find solutions to issues that arise and teach more junior members of the team integral parts of the job.
