SC PPDU Format

• A SC PPDU frame is composed of the QMG SC PHY STF, the QMG SC PHY CEF, the QMG SC PHY SIG field, the optional QMG SC PHY SCTF, the SC data block and the optional training fields

• The QMG SC PHY Short Training field (STF) is composed of 10 repetitions of the sequence –Zb256(n) of length 256.

• The QMG SC PHY Channel Estimation field (CEF) is illustrated in Figure 2 for 540 MHz channel bandwidth.

• The optional training fields may be used for Beam-forming of SC

• A SC PPDU frame is composed of the QMG SC PHY STF, the QMG SC PHY CEF, the QMG SC PHY SIG field, the optional QMG SC PHY SCTF, the SC data block and the optional training fields

• Note: All fields are transmitted with SC transmission. For 1080MHz SC transmission, the STF fields, the CEF fields and the SIG fields are transmitted with duplicated style. In this situation the mask of the spectrum is illustrated in figure 3.

• A SC PPDU frame is composed of the QMG SC PHY STF, the QMG SC PHY CEF, the QMG SC PHY SIG field, the optional QMG SC PHY SCTF, the SC data block and the optional training fields

• The QMG SC PHY SCTF is composed of 2 repetitions of the sequence ZCZ512(n) of length 512 with a 128 CP. The QMG SC PHY SCTF is only used for 1080MHz SC transmission. In this situation the mask of the spectrum is illustrated in figure 4.

OFDM PPDU Format

• A MIMO OFDM PPDU frame is composed of the OFDM PHY STF fields, the OFDM PHY CEF field, the QMG OFDM PHY SIG field, the OFDM Long Training Field (MCTF), OFDM symbols and the optional training fields

• The QMG OFDM PHY Short Training field (STF) is composed of 10 repetitions of the sequence –Zc256(n) of length 256.

• The QMG OFDM PHY Channel Estimation field (CEF) is illustrated in Figure 6 and Figure 7 for 540 MHz channel bandwidth and 1080 MHz channel bandwidth, respectively.

• The optional training fields may be used for Beam-forming of OFDM

Control PHY PPDU Format

• The control PHY frame is composed of the QMG control PHY STF, QMG control PHY CEF, QMG control PHY SIG, QMG control PHY Data field, and possibly AGC and TRN-R/T subfields.

• The QMG Control PHY Short Training field (STF) is composed of 10 repetitions of the sequence –Za256(n) of length 256.

• The QMG Control PHY Channel Estimation field (CEF) is illustrated in Figure 8 and Figure 9 for 540 MHz channel bandwidth and 1080 MHz channel bandwidth, respectively.

• The optional training fields may be used for Beam-forming
