Warner World May 2016 Third Graders Share the Love of Books Books, books, and more books flooded into the third grade classrooms as students parcipat - ed in a service project called “Share the Love of Books.” Students donated their own books for chil- dren living in a local children’s home. The idea for this project originated with one of Warner’s former third graders, Robert Kellerman. Since then, War - ner’s third grade classes have donated hundreds of books. This year, almost 400 books were delivered to the children’s home. Thank you to the parents and students who gave so generously this year! Warner Student Give’s Back Megan Kelley is a junior at Warner Chrisan Academy and is dual enrolled at Daytona State College. She is involved with many acvies both at Warner and at Tomoka Chrisan Church, where she worships with her family. Although she is very busy, she joined Mrs. Woodruff and members of Crosswalk Church to help with preparing and serving lunch to the homeless through Halifax Urban Ministries (H.U.M.). Megan has a servant’s heart. Over the summer, she plans to par- cipate in mission trips to Ecuador and Arizona as well as volunteering at the Marine Science Center at Ponce Inlet. Her long term goal is to become a veterinarian with a focus on ministering and sharing the gospel of Christ with the Nave American people of Arizona. Megan is a light wherever she goes, and is a real bless- ing to WCA. Noah Robison, a senior at WCA, was one of 40 stu- dents in Volusia and Flagler counes to be awarded the News Journal Medallion of Excellence Award at a ceremony held on April 13, 2016.
