Words from the Superintendent...

Wow, have I learned that lesson again over the past few weeks. In considering an applicable topic to write about this month, this sounded like a typical issue many of us battle. After concluding that I would do so, it seems as though the floodgates opened and I have been confronted with non-stop challenges battling my patience at every turn.

We’re in so much of a rush nowadays, aren’t we? On the roads. In line at the store. In a restaurant. We get very impatient when we feel like our time is being wasted. And we’re all guilty of it. Noah built a large boat and warned people for 120 years that it was go-ing to rain. Moses spent 40 years in the desert. Jacob worked for 14 years to take Rachel as his wife. Joseph spent two years in a nasty Egyptian prison. All were patient men of God. They could have clearly done something more “constructive” during that time, but God had other plans for them.

God is patient. We know that. We need to ask Him to show us how to be patient. Then perhaps we won’t get upset if our food is a little slow in arriving, other peo-ple can pass us on the highway because their meet-ing is more important that ours, and we can relax and bring a smile to the painfully slow clerk who might be having the worst day of her life.

Then it might actually dawn on us that it really isn’t about us.

In Christ’s love,Mark W. TressSchool Superintendent

White Chapel and Warner Christian Academy Are going to be on the Mission Field in Ecuador May 2016!

They are in the process of building a relationship as a team, learning Spanish, and of course fundraising. You are invited to join with them, as part of the home team, choosing to support them in prayer, and/or contrib-ute financially. Visit the “Blessing Board” located in the White Chapel reception area, on Sundays, to meet

members of the team, and learn about the mission. You can pick an envelope off the board, and place your donation by cash or check (made out to White Chapel Church) into the “Blessing Box” right there.

If you would like more information, or want to make a donation without visiting the Board, you may contact Peri Pardo 386-416-8987 or Misty Lewis 386-767-5470.

The Bears made it to the elementary office and the elementary cafeteria and the high school causing mis-chief everywhere. Pastor’s Brent and Josh even brought them back to my room after they were located in the church causing problems. They told the kids how they spoke to the Bears about walking with Jesus and we found them in Pastor Josh’s office the next morning asking to walk with Jesus.
