Withourannualgeneralmeetingalmostuponus,IwouldliketothanktheorganizingcommitteechairedbyWayneSneddonforputtingtogetheranexcitingprogramunderthethemePlantBiotech2016.ThisjointmeetingwithmembersoftheCanadianAssociationforPlantBiotechnology(CAPB)promisestostimulatenewresearchideasandopportunitiesforCSPB/SCVBmembers.IamalsohopefulthatmanyCAPBmemberswillconsiderbecomingpermanentmembersofoursociety.
