K-12th Grade Activities l Elementary Activities l Jr. High Activities l High School Activities Platforms for students running for 2018-2019 ASB Student Council offices:

For the office of President: Andrew Meyer

Hellos students of the ISP. I am Andrew Meyer. Some of you may know me, as I have been a part of ASB for all of my high school experience. For those who may not know who I am, I am a Marvel fanboy, film lover, and connoisseur of dank memes. As I stated

previously, I have served on the ASB for 3 years, and now I will embark on a journey of leadership for this group, by running for the office of President. As President, I do not want to build great walls, but to build an environment of laughter and good vibes. I want us to enjoy our high school years, as they are a short but valuable time in our lives as humans. We are only teenagers once, so I believe it is important to have fun enjoying being teenagers, as these are really our last years as kids. So let’s have fun with this. I want to create an atmosphere

where we are comfortable being ourselves in, and let God’s influence help guide our decisions and planning. I look forward to this upcoming year, and I can’t wait to get started. Don’t be blue, vote for Andrew!

    ______________________________________________________For the office of Vice-President:

Hunter EricksonHello! I am Hunter Erickson and I am excited to be running for the position of Vice President this year. I will be planning and running your

monthly fellowship nights and I am ecstatic at the possibility of making your high school experience more enjoyable and focused on Christ. ______________________________________________________

For the office of Secretary:Amber Hansen

Hey Y’all, it is Amber Hansen your previous Treasurer! I am so pleased to say I will be running again this year by auditioning for the role of Secretary! I have enjoyed the past two years planning events and helping alongside fellow ASB members in events, in addition to growing friendships with all you wonderful people. I would love to take on the position of Secretary being that I am a good listener and I type very

fast! As Secretary I will be taking notes during all meetings. With these detailed notes, it will allow the ASB to discuss your ideas and thoughts to plan events everyone will enjoy! That is exactly what I want for y’all - for your suggestions to be heard and for your high school

experience to be filled with amazing memories that last a life time! Thanks so much!!______________________________________________________

For the office of Treasurer:Hudson Erickson

Hi, I am Hudson Erickson. I am super excited to be running for Treasurer! As Treasurer I would be managing the money for our events and keeping track of what is in the inventory. I look forward to serving our student body.

______________________________________________________For the office of Activities Coordinator:

Hannah MathewsHi! My name is Hannah Mathews and I am running for Activities Coordinator. I have held this position all year and have learned a great deal

about all the hard work and planning that goes into the events that our students enjoy. I am passionate about my job because I know that I am helping our students form lasting friendships, and fostering a spirit of unity among our large group of high schoolers. This is a really

fun group and I look forward to handling the administrative side of the upcoming events. I love paperwork!! But even more than that, I love to see you all come together and have a wonderful time. The student council members work very hard to make sure we have lots to do

together. I am looking forward to another bang-up year of fun and fellowship! I commit myself to serve you all in my role as Activities Coordinator! Thank you!

______________________________________________________For the office of Student Commissioner:

Dylan ChungI enjoyed being on the worship team last year, and would like to be more involved this year as Student Commissioner. This year I would like

For the office of Senior Representative:Danica Heaton

Hello, my name is Danica J. Heaton. It is my goal to make 2018-2019 school year the best senior year for my class! I intend to create a fun, Godly, Christian environment at each event. What are these events? Well, I hope to plan many events, such as bowling, laser tag,

Aerosports, beach day, game night, airsoft, games in the park, parties, etc. The possibilities are endless! So please vote for a great senior year, come with me and be free to do the things you always wanted to do! We are all children of God, each wonderfully made in unique and

beautiful ways. So please allow me to serve you, do the work for you and make this year the best year ever! No stress, no mess... only the best!

Candace MagureguiHello future Seniors, this is not only my last year of high school but yours as well and I would love to make it the fun, memorable year

everyone talks about when looking back at high school memories. I will do everything in my power to help you enjoy this last year. Cast your vote for me, Candace Maguregui, as your last voting hurrah! I will give my all and will for sure make our last year here in high school

wonderful and unforgettable with great events to bring us all together. I promise to do my job. All you will have to do is show up. Join me in making the CMCA 2018-2019 Senior year the best “event filled time” by voting for me. GO WARRIORS!

______________________________________________________For the office of Junior Representative:

Jean FoleyI am Elizabeth Jean Foley, although most of you know me as Jean. I am running for Junior Representative. I have been home schooling my

entire life and I understand how lonely and frustrating it can be to feel like you don’t fit in at the very few school events you go to. I would like to involve the entire junior class at the events and help everybody to feel welcome. I want to start having once-a-month meetings for the junior class only to discuss issues they are experiencing, concerns they may have, and ideas for future events. But I would also like to take this time to listen to the students who wish to come to the PaLMs, but are unable to attend. I would like for them to also be aware of sport

events, tryouts for plays and musicals, local service opportunities, mission trips, and dances that are planned by the day schoolers. As home schoolers we are sometimes unaware of all of the opportunities available to us, and I would like everybody to have

the chance to find their place. It would be my greatest pleasure to serve the Junior class in this capacity. “But be sure to fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you.” - 1 Samuel 12:24

______________________________________________________For the office of Sophomore Representative:

Grace HeatonHey everyone! I am an upcoming Sophomore and my name is Grace Heaton. A few things about me is that I love God, people, writing, running (it’s not a popular opinion XD) and fellowship. I love planning events and enjoy meeting new people! This year, (wow I cannot

believe it’s going to be 2019 already!!!!) I would like to plan more events to help people in need. As Americans we are pretty blessed! We (especially I) take so many things for granted. To me, it’s sad to think people don’t have any homes or fresh water! I feel like it is important

to help people out when it is in our power to do do. Back on a more happy topic, CONGRATULATIONS FRESHMEN!! WE MADE IT THROUGH THE FIRST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL!!! If any of you have ideas for this next year I would love to hear them! Some fun events I want to plan if I am elected are: roller skating, beach trip, lock down, ice cream trip. I am pretty open to ideas so if you have any ideas feel

free to contact me! If I am elected I want to make sure everyone has an awesome time at any event at Calvary! I want to help make sure fellow students feel safe and accepted and have loads of fun at Calvary events!

______________________________________________________For the office of Freshman Representative:

Cadie ChristensenHi, my name is Cadie Christensen. For the 2018-2019 school year, I am applying for Freshman Representative. Some things to know

about me are: I like hiking and being out in nature, I enjoy being involved in sports and I love being active in my church youth group. I have been a gymnast for the past twelve years and am also participating in track and field for the middle school team at CMCS. Currently, I am

preparing to be a VBS volunteer; and in August I will be traveling to Panama on a missions trip with my church. I strive to keep Christ as the center of my life as I study His Word and grow in my faith. I think that I would be a great candidate for this position because I love planning

events, being active, and having a good time. Goals I have for this year, if I am elected, are to be involved and learn as much as I can about ASB, plan exciting events, have fun, encourage others to attend activities, and make time to listen/implement other’s ideas to make this an

amazing 2018-2019 school year! Please consider voting for me, Cadie Christensen, for your Freshman Representative.
