ALMA BORCUKI love nature and so my paintingsare drawn from nature. Recently,my focus has been on traditionalSumi-e and Chinese Brush painting.I have been studying under mymentor, Dr. Ning Yeh who is apremier master of this ancient artform. Although my favoritemedium is watercolor, I havecreated paintings using othermediums - ink, pencil, contecrayons, pastels and oil pastels, sometimes combining mediums tocreate my own unique artistic style.

During the 2018 Lake Arrowhead Rotary Art & Wine Festival, I was awarded"Best of Show", selected over 70 participating artists in various art mediums.

I am a great supporter of animal rescue efforts. Through donations of my art,I've been able to help several animal charities. My works have been featured incharitable fundraising events and have raised funds to help end animalsuffering.
