Dermatology for Today’s Global CommunityThe US population is growing and evolving and the clinical profile of the average patient presenting to the dermatologist is changing. One in three Americans self-identify as member of a non-caucasian racial or ethnic group. It is projected that by 2020, individuals of non-Caucasian, multi-racial descent will comprise more than 50% of the population. This increased diversity requires a greater understanding of racial and ethnic variations in the prevalence, clinical presentation, and optimal treatment approaches to medical and aesthetic dermatologic concerns. Join us for two days of live demonstrations and case-based learning to ensure the continued success of your career and practice. Gain new knowledge and expertise to expand and enhance your treatment options for this growing population.

The 10th Skin of Color Seminar Series, led by nationally recognized faculty, takes a case-based approach to train dermatology practitioners on the safe and effective treatment of skin of color through a series of live demonstrations, hands-on training and didactic sessions.

Expert faculty share practical pearls focusing on:

• Treatment across the skin of color spectrum for medical conditions such as melasma, acne, PIH, and alopecia

• Expert instruction in performing cosmetic procedures in skin of color

• Dermatologic conditions unique to various skin of color segments

• Differences in skin of color responses to cosmeceuticals, fillers and neurotoxins

• Guidance on interacting with patients of diverse cultural backgrounds

• Lasers, light sources and device pearls
