“Maya the bee- The birth of Maya”

Maya came out from her egg- Bees make eggs!!!

Maya met her best friend, Villy- Male bees are called drones

Mrs Kassandra takes care of Maya-All the female bees apart from the Queen raise up the babies and collect the pollen, they are called

workers.

The Queen is Maya’s mother. There is only one queen in each beehive.

This is the hivecomb. It is made by wax. Inside it bees put honey

Look at the beehive carefully- We will need it later.
