NO. 01-02-83

SUBJECT: REQUIRING ALL RADIO BROADCAST AND TELEVISION

SYSTEMS TO SECURE CERTIFICTES OF PUBLIC

CONVENIENCE.

Pursuant to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 247-A date 11 November 1974

terminating all franchise, grants, license, permits, certificate or any other forms ofauthority granted by any person or agency of government to operate radio broadcast or

television systems on 31 December 1981 and implementing the provisions of Executive

Order 546 requiring all radio broadcast and television systems, to secure certificates of

 public convenience for the legal operation thereof, it is hereby directed that all radio broadcast and television systems immediately secure certificates of public convenience

 by filing with this Commission not later than 28 February 1983 their respective

applications/petition for the issuance of the said certificates of public convenience in

accordance with law.
