The Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE)

SENSE helps community colleges understand the experience of entering students and engage these students in the earliest weeks of their college experience.

Methodology – FALL 2018

The SENSE survey was administered in

over 90 randomly selected classes:

• Administered between the 4th and 5th week of

the fall semester

• Classes were all on-ground

• Surveys were administered by faculty
