MCG Industries is proud to introduce you to its newly acquired Flexible packaging plant. Located in Mobeni, the heartland of Durban’s bustling manufacturing hub of Jacobs, the plant boasts a proud record of 40 years within the flexible packaging industry.

Our philosophy is based on providing products that deliver value, quality and consistency across all market sectors and in all regions, including export. By providing superior tailor made films and packaging products to our customers, we ensure that our goals are achieved by deploying high energy into R&D, value and reliability. Being preferred supplier to some of the most recognized brands in the market is not just about being the cheapest but about providing value.

MCG Flexibles is committed to delivering quality branded packaging without compromise and is BRC accredited. The current BEE status is at level 4.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

“MCG Industries is a South African owned and managed company engaged in the manufacturing of a variety of plastic packaging to a diverse market. We are an industry leader in Injection Moulding of Crates and Containers. Our manufacturing sites are strategically located in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Namibia, to supply customers with a wide variety of competitively priced quality products for both the domestic and international export market. MCG Industries is a BEE accredited enterprise” Schoeller Allibert International GmbH in Germany is MCG Industries’ Technical Parner.

We are pleased to introduce, the Flexibles division of MCG Industries (Pty) Ltd. This division has been set up through the acquisition of the assets, consisting of plant, equipment, premises, and key personnel of a 40 year old recognized industry leader, in LR Plastics.

The acquisition has been very exciting for us, as the change in ownership has brought with it, some fantastic improvements to our operations. It also ensures that, quality of product and innovation, of the past, are retained and indeed, enhanced. A fresh approach to sales and order procurement has been deployed.
