E PORTFOLIO


E-Portfolio

• E-Portfolio allows students to

view a collection of digital artifacts

articulating learning (both formal

and informal), experiences and

achievements.

• Teachers can give reviews and

comments.

• Individual folios can also be rated

by teachers.

Note

• This is different on the MC Online

web portal where students can

give comments and other folios

can be rated by students too.

• Students cannot access the E-

Portfolio in the Mobile LMS app.


E-Portfolio – My Portfolio (Folios)

• To begin viewing your E-Portfolio,

just tap on the folder in your

Folders. (By default, you are

already in your My Portfolio view).

Note

• In the Mobile app, you cannot

create additional folders. You will

need to log into the MC Online

web portal for that purpose.

• For the full usage guide, you may

refer to the E-Portfolio User

Guide section on the MC Online

web portal.



• After tapping on the main folio,

this will load any additional sub-

folders you have created for

individual projects and learning

experiences.

• In this page, you can now edit the

properties of the main portfolio.

• Tap on the individual sub-folders

to view the contents within.

Note

• You cannot delete the main

portfolio until you have deleted all

items in every sub-folder located

in your e-portfolio.



• After tapping the sub-folders,

this will list all the other items

you can add such as :

– Artifacts which can be files or

pictures.

– Reflections.

– Teachers can add their

reviews of student’s sub-folder

items.

Teachers can also assign

marks to the sub-folder.

– Students can comment on the

artifacts and/or reflections.


E-Portfolio – My Portfolio (Profile)

• In Profiles, you can update

information about yourself

such as :

– Your Class, email and Personal

Webpage.

– More about me.

– My Hobby/Interest


E-Portfolio – My Portfolio (Achievements)

• In Achievements, you can

add entries for achievements

you have been awarded in

school, as well as outside of

school.


E-Portfolio – My Portfolio (Goals)

• In Goals, you can add

information about any

achievements, awards or

prizes you wish to win.

• These goals may be still in

progress, or may have already

been completed or achieved.


E-Portfolio – Folio Bank

• In the Folio Bank, there are

several options to filter the e-

portfolios. They are :

– Search Profiles

– Newest Folios

– Most viewed

– Most rated

– Most commented

Note

• This guide will show you

“Search Profiles” and “Newest

Folios” as they are the most

commonly used options.


E-Portfolio – Folio Bank (Search Profiles)

• In Search Profiles, this will

allow you to quickly look for a

particular student’s e-Portfolio.

• Tap on the student’s name to

view the contents of their e-

Portfolio.


E-Portfolio – Folio Bank (Newest Folios)

• In Newest Folios, this will

display and list the recently

created folios of students.

• Tapping on “View Folio” or

“View Folders” allows you to

view the respective contents in

the student’s e-Portfolio.
