MED TECH FOR TOTS

• I have eight videos, each describing a machine or tool. Some describe two or three tools and machines.

• I have a YouTube channel, PediatricVideos, that I have posted my videos to.

• I created a website, medtechfortots.weebly.com, and I have all of my videos posted on it. I also have a blog stating what each of these tools/machines do. I also have a slideshow on the homepage consisting of pictures I took at a pediatrician’s office.

HOW DID I DO IT?

The Need• Many children are afraid of

the doctor’s office. Most of this fear is from inadequate knowledge about tools at the office. This website and videos will subside that fear.

• By doing this project, I feel like I will be better in the medical field.

• One day, I can show these videos to kids who come to my office.

How I Met the Need• I filmed at the

pediatrician’s office my dad works at.• I used Weebly to make

my website. • I used Windows Movie

Maker to edit my videos.

CHALLENGES

• I think one of my biggest challenges was to learn how to use Weebly. •My next challenge was thinking of what to say in the videos without appearing to be nervous. •My last challenge was figuring out the way to edit my videos.
