o During the construction stages of our production the main media technology we used was the internet for the website blogger. We used blogger as a way of keeping track of everything we we’re doing for the creation of our film trailer, film magazine cover and film poster. The blog tracks our every progress, from audience and product research, to our final productions.

o The internet was also a way of helping us conduct our product and audience research. With the use of search engines, or allowing us to put questions for out targeted audience on the internet (such as Twitter and Facebook).

o While we were constructing out production, there was an considerable amount of use of camcorders and digital cameras.

o The camcorders we used were of high quality, which enabled us to get the professional look we wanted and needed for our trailer. When trying to make our film trailer look professional we also needed a tripod to keep our shots steady.

o The use of the digital cameras were also of high quality, this again enabled us to produce high quality pictures for out magazine cover and poster.

o When it came down to editing our trailer the software we used was Power Director.

o Power Director is an off the shelf editing software, so like with anything... There was minor problems.The main problem we incurred was that now and again the software wouldn't upload our project, which wasn’t a problem at the start of the project, but when you’re half way through the project it wasn’t the best.

o Despite this problem, this was the only problem we incurred and therefore I believe this software is of above average quality, and without it we wouldn’t have been able to make our production.

o When it came down to creating our film magazine cover and film poster, my team and I really struggled as photoshop is quite a tricky software to be an expert on.

o The problems we found with this software was only because we were inexperienced with photoshop.

o After making our magazine covers on this software, we were able to create our film posters with a little more ease.
