ISSUE OF ARM LICENCE Meeseva is a service centre to deliver government services to the citizen. It was started by Government of Andhra
Pradesh. It is presently offering government services. It was launched in Nov 2011. Before implementing Meeseva, the citizen had approached to the various departments at various places for obtaining the G to C service, after implementing Meeseva the citizen can apply several G to C services in a one place at Meeseva Centre.
A arm license (also known as a gun license) is a license or permit issued by government. Now This Service was Provided Through Meeseva. This Service Facilitate both Fresh and Renewal of License
The Processing Steps and Mandatory Documents for Applying of Issue of Arm License as shown Below.

SLA 45 Working days Note: The asterisk (*) denotes mandatory requirement of documents. # Indicates Optional Apply for Issue of Arm Licence : This section contains instructions for the operators of the Meeseva web application to apply for Issue of Arm License Application . 1) In Meeseva home screen, under List of Services, select Revenue Department services as depicted in Figure 1.

2) Select Issue of Arm License Service in Revenue Department as depicted in Figure 2.

3) Now Issue of Arm License Application Request Screen will be displayed as depicted in Figure 3.

4) Select Service Type Either Issue of Arm License as depicted in figure 4.
Note:- Here I am selecting Renewal

4) Enter Applicant details such as Aadhaar No, Applicant Name, Father Name, Place of Birth/Nativity, Date of birth (In words), Date of Birth, Occupation, Designation, Address of The Company/Office, Whether the Applicant convicted(If so, the offences) the sentence and date of Sentence ,Whether the Applicant Ordered to execute a bond under Chapter VIII of code of criminal procedure, 1973(2 of 1974) for keeping the peace or for good behavior, if so when and for what period , Whether the Applicant prohibited under the arms act 1959 or any other law from having the arms/ammunition, Whether the Applicant applied for a license before if so, when to whom and with that result, Whether the Applicant's license was over suspended or cancelled revoked, if so when and by whom and what account, Whether any other member of the applicant's family is in possession of arms license, if so particulars thereof, Whether the Applicant is a licensee or exempted, if so description of the Arms held, Whether the Applicant has a safe place to keep the arms, Whether the Applicant is a bonafide tourist and Whether the provisions sanctioned of the concerned authority required and under rule 50 as depicted in figure 4.
Note:- Here we can also fill Farmer details with the help of Aadhaar number.

5) Enter Present (Postal)Address details such as District, Mandal, Village / Ward, Door No, Locality / Land Mark, Pin Code and Nearest Police station as depicted in figure 5.

6) Enter Permanent Address details such as District, Mandal, Village / Ward, Door No, Locality / Land Mark, Pin Code and Nearest Police station as depicted in figure 6.
Note:- Please Select Check box If Present Address is Same as Permanent Address

7) Enter Service specific details such as Head for License, Social Status of Applicant, Purpose of Arms/Ammunition, Description of Arm/Ammunition, Quantity of Ammunition, Area within which applicant wished to carry Arms , Place where arms/ammunition will be kept/ manufacture etc., Other Particulars required as in the relevant license form and Any claims for special consideration as depicted in figure 7.

8) Enter Informant Details such as Informant Name , Relation with Applicant, Email id, Mobile No and Delivery Type as depicted in Figure 8.

Note: Based on the Citizen request, the delivery option (either through Manual or Speed Post - Local or Speed Post - Non Local at the Franchisee) has to be selected. The courier charge for Post (Local) is INR. 33/- and for Post to Non Local areas is INR. 46/-. 10) Collect the necessary supporting documents as indicated in the Issue of Arm License Application request page scan the documents and upload into the system, as depicted in Figure 10.

Note: All the mandatory fields have to be filled in; otherwise request will not be accepted by the system. 11) Click Show Payment. Another window appears requesting to Confirm Payment as depicted in figure 11.

Note: - Based on the delivery option chosen by the citizen, the service charges will be calculated and displayed.
12) Collect the amount from the Citizen and click Confirm Payment to submit the request as depicted in figure 13.

On confirmation, a receipt will be generated as depicted in the following figure. The receipt will contain the Certificate delivery date. Note: Ensure that you have sufficient balance with your service provider (SCA), else the system will not accept the request.

Note: - On submission of the request, Citizen Receives Message. Like your Request for Issue of Arm License Application has been
entered vide Application Number, Transaction Id and sent to Dept.
13) On submission, the request will be sent to the work flow of the respective Collector for further processing.
14) Once the request is approved by Collector, the Issue of Arm License Certificate will be dispatched through courier to the citizen address if the Delivery Type is Speed Post Local/Non Local.
� If Delivery Type Is Manual, then the citizen need to collect the Issue of Arm License Certificate from franchisee where he/she applied for the Certificate.
