DIRECTORS NOTES

While growing up, my parents always said, “When you go to bed at night, take one moment and ask, ‘What one thing did you learn today? Finding that one thing will have made the day worth living.” Life is a journey and the play, “Spreading it Around,” brought my parents’ words came back to me. Our main characters, An-gie and Martin, show us how important it is to keep looking for those “new things” each day can bring. It is not the reaching of goals, but the journey that gives life true meaning. I hope you leave this show with renewed resolve to “journey on.”

- Rolland Roebuck, Director
