Message from the Central America Area Presidency If we center our life on the two great commandments, loving God and our neighbor and following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ, the blessings in this life and for all eternity will be unparalleled. With the purpose of helping both individuals and families in Central America to achieve these blessings, the Area Presidency has created this document so that you, through prayer and working in your family council, will engrave these inspired priorities in your hearts. We invite you to treasure this family document, to create your own plans, and to consistently follow through with them until your goals are achieved.

What are we doing to live the gospel of Jesus Christ?

• Pray and study the scriptures daily, especially The Book of Mormon

• Keep the Sabbath day holy

• Receive saving ordinances from the temple

• Pay a full tithe

• ctivate, by going to the rescue, focused on priesthood holders and their families

• aptize converts by teaching them repentance with an increased focus on families, older teenagers, and single adults

What are we doing to become more self-reliant, to prepare for emergencies, and to care for the poor and needy?

• Fast regularly and donate a generous fast offering

• Achieve temporal self-reliance, both individually and as a Church

What are we doing to receive the blessings of the temple and work for the salvation of our ancestors?

• Attend the temple frequently

• Work constantly to find the names of our ancestors and take them to the temple
