Help and be Humble

The last year has already been dropped into the silent Limbo of

the past and we are already in the New Year 2016. Among others, the

two nagging problems which plagued the world most during the last

year have been global warming and terrorism. Global warming has to be

addressed by reducing consumption of fossil fuel world wide and

installation of more and more plants to harness renewable energy that

does not pollute air. Terrorism can be wiped out only if incubation centers

of terrorism are rooted out. Terrorism being a global menace the world

community must unite to combat this global evil. Developed nations of the

world have a huge responsibility of reducing global warming. There can be no

piecemeal solutions to these global problems. Half-hearted measures to tackle terrorism

and global warming may create false dawns. Throughout history, we know, dark nights have perhaps in some

ways caused mankind less grief than false dawns.

My humble message to all the members of Synergy family in the New Year is that we should always be prepared

to help people and be humble. Humility is not a weak and timid quality. It must be carefully distinguished from

a groveling spirit. There is such a thing as honest pride and self-respect. Though we may be servants to all, we

should be servile to none.
