We can look back at our accomplishments from the previ- ous year and look forward to our plans and dreams for the New Year. This past October marked your credit union’s 55th anniversary. While many financial services providers have come and gone over the past 55 years, we have thrived and remained strong due to the support and loyalty of our members. We look forward to being here for you for many more years to come. I am pleased to say 2015 was another successful year for your credit union. Our focus was on providing you with out- standing financial services, convenient ways for you to conduct your business with us, and to connue to provide the highest level of account security. Last year we introduced a new responsive website design, providing easier navigaon and a uniform look across all online devices. For those who use newer Apple devices, we introduced Apple-pay as a way of streamlining your purchase transacons in a safe and convenient manner. For your increased security, online banking was enhanced with a more complex login password and we introduced EMV chip technology for our Visa credit cards, making your credit card transacons at retailers safer. As we move forward in 2016 we expect to be very busy. New enhancements are planned for our electronic delivery channels to make it easier to do business with your credit union. When Samsung and Android Pay become available we look forward to implemenng that technology for your shopping convenience. We will connue to enhance our loan products to help you with your financing needs and fit you with the best loan soluon for your lifestyle. And, of course, we will connue with programs and events that have proven themselves popular with all our members, that include per- sonalized credit reviews, financial educaon and budgeng, and community shred days. We oſten receive emails or leers from members telling us about their experience with Dutch Point. Here is an email from a member I would like to share with you. Dutch Point is first and foremost a wonderful friend. The Representaves with whom I interact are top notch in their skill and abilies, assisng me and my family in whatever is needed. Winter 2016 Newsletter

The beginning of a new year is an exciting time for all of us. We can look back at our accomplishments from the previ-ous year and look forward to our plans and dreams for the New Year. This past October marked your credit union’s 55th anniversary. While many financial services providers have come and gone over the past 55 years, we have thrived and remained strong due to the support and loyalty of our members. We look forward to being here for you for many more years to come.

I am pleased to say 2015 was another successful year for your credit union. Our focus was on providing you with out-standing financial services, convenient ways for you to conduct your business with us, and to continue to provide the highest level of account security. Non-Visa Pinless Debit Transactions:

Privacy Notice - Federal law requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal infor-mation. Our privacy policy has not changed and you may review our policy and practices with respect to your personal information at www.dutchpoint.org. We will mail you a free copy upon request if you call us at 800-842-1778.

You may use your Visa Debit Card to initiate both Visa debit transactions and non-Visa debit transactions without using a personal identification number (PIN) to authenti-cate the transactions.

To initiate a Visa debit transaction, you may sign a receipt, provide a card number, or swipe your card through a point-of-sale (POS) terminal and choose to route the transaction over a Visa network.

To initiate a non-Visa debit transaction, you may enter a PIN at a point-of-sale terminal or, for certain bill payment transactions, provide the account number for an e-com-merce or mail/telephone order transaction after clearly indicating a preference to route it as a non-Visa transac-tion. We have enabled non-Visa debit transaction processing on the NYCE or Accel/Exchange network(s).

The rights and protections applicable only to Visa debit transactions, including additional consumer liability limits and streamlined error resolution procedures, as described in your Electronic Fund Transfers Agreement and Disclo-sure, will not apply to transactions processed through non-Visa networks.

Dorothy J. Sullivan Scholarship - 2016

Dorothy J. Sullivan Scholarship applications for 2016 are now being accepted. The Scholarship was initiated to hon-or and recognize the vast accom-plishments made by Dorothy J. Sullivan during her 43-year career at Dutch Point.

Requirements: To qualify for the DJS Scholarship, the student must be the primary member of his or her own account at Dutch Point Credit Union. The DJS Scholarship application is available at www.dutchpoint.org. Applications must be completed, printed and mailed to the credit union by April 30, 2016. Dutch Point will be awarding up to 5 one-time $1,000 Scholarships to provide students entering their college freshman year with financial assistance toward a college education. Scholarship details, entry information, and any restrictions or conditions can be found online at www.dutchpoint.org.
