Library Assignment

1. We discussed symbolic/metaphoric images in class. Please find three images that fit the description “symbolic” copy/paste them into a word document. Please think about what size they should be for your collage

Should all your images be small squares, or should some of them be larger for use in the collage??

How do you plan to use the image in your collage?

3) You need to have one written metaphor. You must understand the meaning of the metaphor! Please look for something that you feel relates to you personally in some way.

Use the website below to look for written examples. You can use one from a website, or you can write a metaphor of your own.

• Written Example:– "Memory is a crazy woman that hoards colored rags and throws away food.“

• This website is only one source for written metaphor. Please look at this and other websites for your written example.

Remember, you can also write your own metaphor for the assignment.
