[87)Details of the major CSR interventions of GAIL (lndia) Limited carried outduring the last three years is as below:

FY 2014-151. Training in plastic products manufacturing to 60 candidates at

Ahmedabad centre of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering andTechnology [CIPET), an organization under Ministry of Chemicals &Fertilizers, Govt. of India.

Project Swadheen: Skill based training to 1500 differently abledpersons, covering 48 districts of 18 states, in partnership withNational Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation.

Project Shrijan: Long term rehabilitation work in flood affectedregion covering 10 villages of 03 blocks in Rudraprayag

[Uttarakhand) with major components of the project being CapacityBuilding, Livelihood generation, Infrastructure/Asset Creation,Disaster Management and Mitigation, setting up of a CommunityResource Centre, self -help groups, Farmer Interest Groups etc.

GAIL Kaushal: Operation of 04 Skill Schools in Guna (MP), Dediapada(Narmada, GujaratJ, Tandur [Telangana) and Nagaram (EastGodavari, Andhra Pradesh) for imparting job linked skills training inretail/sales, hospitality management, basic engineering etc to morethan 3000 rural and semi urban youth in the remote/backwarddistricts.

G AIL Utkarsh : Specialised residential coaching/intensive mentoringto L00 nos. of meritorious children from marginalized communities.Out of 100 selected students,92 candidates qualified IIT Mains andfurther 50 qualified IIT advance examination.

GAIL Arogya: Operation of 18 Mobile Medical Units across the states ofMadhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttarakhand, AndhraPradesh and Punjab.

Installation of 1200 solar street light to promote non-conventionalsources in various villages of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh andAndhra Pradesh.

@)B. Project Jaldhar: Integrated Watershed Development andManagement Programme in the tribal area of fhabua, MadhyaPradesh.

FY 2015-16

L. Construction of over 3614 toilets with water facility under "SwachhBharat, Swachh Vidyalaya" program in various Govt schools ofOdisha, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

2. GAIL Indian Speedstar: project for scouting talent from thegrassroots level for participation in national and international eventsIike 2020 0lympics. The project covered 53 districts across 10 statesin which more than 25,000 children participated out of which 0B

candidates have been finally selected for further training.

3. Contribution for setting up of Skill Development Institute [SDI) atBhubaneshwar, in joint participation with other Oil PSEs.

4. Training in plastic products manufacturing to 240 candidates at 07centres (Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Guwahati andLucknow) of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering andTechnology ICIPET).

5. Provision of aids and assistance devices to nearly 700 differentlyabled people in partnership with Artificial Limbs ManufacturingCorporation of India (ALIMC0).

Project Shrijan: Continuation of long term rehabilitation work inflood affected region covering 10 villages of 03 blocks inRudraprayag (Uttarakhand) with major components of the projectbeing capacity building, livelihood promotion, counselling,Infrastructure/Asset Creation, Disaster Management and Mitigation,Construction of Water powered grinding units (Gharaat), spicemaking, juice making, bakery units, Community radio Station etc

7. GAIL Utkarsh: Specialised residential coaching/intensive mentoringto 100 nos. of meritorious children from marginalized communities.

B. GAIL Kaushal: Operation of 04 Skill Schools in Guna (MP), Dediapada

[Narmada, Gujarat), and Nagaram (East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh)and Tandur [Telangana) for imparting job linked skills training tomore than 3200 beneficiaries in trades like Auto Cad, WebDesigning, Domestic BPV/BP0, Welding, Industrial Electrician, CNC

Operator, Instrument Technician, retail associate and masonry.

9. GAIL Arogya: Operation of 20 Mobile Medical Units across the statesof Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttarakhand,Andhra Pradesh and Punjab.

t. Swachcha Bharat Abhiyaan: Construction of over 350 toiletsincluding School toilets, Community Toilets, Bio-Toilets and Pre-Fabtoilets in villages across Telangana, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka and Gujarat.

Contribution for setting up of Skill Development Institute (SDI) atKochi and Vishakhapatnam and to Hydro Carbon Sector Skill Council(HSSCJ, in joint participation with other Oil PSEs.

Training in plastic products manufacturing to 214 candidates at 07centres (Guwahati, Imphal, Mysore, Balasore, Aurangabad, faipur &Ahmedabad) of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering andTechnology ICIPET).

GAIL India Speed Star: Scouting grass root level athletic talent in 107nos. of districts across India. More than 1 lakh candidatesparticipated in the trials out of which 6 athletes have been selectedfor world class coaching and training to compete in National andInternational events like Olympics 2020.

Installation of over 4000 solar street units including street lights,lanterns and individual lighting systems have been installed inidentified villages of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Telangana, West Bengaland Uttarakhand.

GAIL Koushal: Operation of 03 Skill Schools in Guna (MP), Dediapada

[Narmada, Gujarat), and Nagaram (East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh)for imparting job linked skills training to over 2,000 candidates inGeneral Engineering programs including Welder, Fitter, Electricians,Solar Technicians, CMC Operator, Instrument Technician, AssistantSurveyor, Assistant Mason, Welding Assistant, Auto CAD etc.

Project Avant: To improve standards of education in 60 Govt. schoolsof Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh using innovation andexperimentation methods with special focus on STEM fScience,Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
