Industrial Visit to Rucha Industries

An industrial Visit to Rucha Industries was •arranged for third year students, wherein they got an opportunity to watch the real time working robotic process.Our faculty members Mr. C. M. Mane and Mr. •A.V. Dusane conducted a hands on training session on animated GIF making for First year students of our college. Around 92 first yearstudents attended the session.

Guest Lecture on “Cyber Law and Security”of our department. It's an efficient way tolearn the software through self learning. An industrial Visit to the National Remote •Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad was arranged for final year students of ourdepartment. The students got an opportunity to interact with many scientists over there. The students were given exposure to multiple

ISRO centres working around the nation for remote sensing data and application needs. The major work carried out through remote sensing application and they also shared the internship opportunities provided by the NRSC.

A guest lecture was conducted on “Role of •Engineers in Road Safety” by Er. R. M. Damgir, Professor and Head of Civil Engineering Department of Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad. He is a city head of the Indian Road Safety Campaign. The main objective of this lecture was the role of civil engineers in road safety and measures to control road accidents.Er. AnInductionprogramwasconductedinthedepartmentfornewlyadmittedfirstyearstudents.Inthis•program various activities were conducted for students like students aspirations and family expectation through which students can get an idea about how to handle aspirations and family expectations, peer pressure as per AICTE guidelines to make them aware of handling peer pressure and various sessions like Gratitude, Self and Body, Prosperity, KBC Game etc.

ISRO is nations pride and taking students there is a true motivation with this intention our department • organized study tour to ISRO NRSC-national Remote Sensing Center Hyderabad for the students of Third Year IT (45 students) on 23rd sept 2019. The objective of visit was to explore research opportunities in the field of Remote sensing and GIS. Faculty organizers were Ms Vijaya Ahire Mr. Amol Mahadik, Mr Yogesh Tayade. Dr. padmarani Head NRSC given presentation which not only focused on various projects of ISRO but how ISRO founded, contribution of legends like greate scientists Dr Vikram Sarabhai, Dr. A P J abdul kalam and the challenges ISRO faced. Students got knowledge of ISRO centers in INDIA and responsibilities they are carrying and contribution of ISRO in space mission.

On the occasion of “Sports day” on 29th Aug. 2019, Mr. Gaurav Pawar delivered a lecture talk on Fitness and lifestyle for students. He is a renownedfitnesstrainerin the Aurangabad city. He also motivated students to maintain and improve their physical and mental fitness andalso shared some tips and tricks.

An interaction session for third year and final year studentswith Mr. Prashant Rathod, Automation Engineer and Alumnus was organized on 30th August 2019. He elaborated future scope in the Automation sector for Electrical Engineering Students. He also guided students for choosing their future pathways, which is very essential in today's scenario.

A seminar was conductedforfinalyearstudents on the ‘Internet of Things’ by Mr. Amit Rana, Alumnus-ECT and founder of Vidya Robotics. He is an expert in Embedded system.During the session he stressed the current scenario of IoT and various important aspects related to it.

A Guest Lecture was conducted on “Integration of •Angular JS with Python” by Mr. Sanket Takalkar (Full stack Developer, Entercoms Pvt. Ltd., Pune). He had trained students in web application development using Angular and Python.A Three Day Workshop on “Universal Human •Values” was organized for non-teaching staff under IQAC Cell from 22nd & 24th August 2019. The speaker was Mr. Umesh Jadhav, Ex. Associate Professor at Royal University of Bhutan to identify the problems and challenges being faced by the people at individual, family, society and environmental levels. He also discussed the concept of “Develop Right Understanding.

The speaker was Mr. Sumit Udaygiri, Soft skill & corporate trainer from 4c training Aurangabad. The main focus of the workshop was on self-analysis,importanceofconfidence,resumewritingand mock interviews.Apeksha Raut, Rohini Lembhe & Rahul Kadam •(SY-MCA) students have participated in “Eco-friendly Ganpati Making Workshop “organized by NSS Students on 28th August 2019.A lecture on “From College to Industry Transition •and Experience” was delivered by our alumni Ms. Varsha Jadhav & Ms Apeksha Joshi, Software Engineer, Vyomlabs, Pune on 17th August 2019.A tree plantation program was organized by MGM •at MIDC Shendra on 26th August 2019 more than 1000 trees were planted by our students & faculty members with a theme “ Do Your Share to Care Nature” to make greener India.

Organized a session on “Current trends in IT” by •Mr. Prashant Gadekar (Project Manager, Fabsoftware stock Aurangabad) on 13th Sept. for TYMCA students. He guided the students about new technologies in current IT industries such as Angular JS, Node JS, no sql, aws etc. Prof. Sujata Magare visited to MGM clean India •Center on 28th September 2019 to provide awareness about waste management & campus sanitation.
