MONTAGGI & IMPIANTI s.r.l. is a company that designs, supplies and installs insulation, fireproofing, decontamination of

asbestos and soundproofing; it has been part of the industrial sector for many years, with an agile and flexible structure able

to operate effectively and in a short time, respecting the work programmes agreed with the Customer.

The activity is divided into two equally important sections

One section takes care of the supply of insulation material alone from designing and calculating the cutting specifications on

the basis of designs supplied by the Customer. The cut is done using technologically advanced equipment supported through

use of a computer.

The second area of work deals mainly with installation of insulation in industrial building installations.

All work is done with a QUALITY GUARANTEE according to the standards in UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2008 For execution of the above

we are pleased to inform you that our company has been selected by the Italian Register of Ships ( RINA ) under number

219/95.

With this certification the RINA recognises the MONTAGGI & IMPIANTI company has the proper organisational structures and

finished products to meet the quality requirements given in the regulation.

The MONTAGGI & IMPIANTI company is the first Italian insulation company to have obtained the quality certification for

design, cut, supply and fitting of insulating material.

The experience of the technical and sales staff and our own skilled workers allows us to design and create any thermal-

acoustic insulation project by using material supplied according to the specifications required, processed and used according

to the most highly developed techniques.

SECTORS OF OPERATIONS

SUPPLY

- Rigid pre-fabricated insulating material of any shape and/or dimensions in sections, slabs, elbows, tees,

reducers, flanges, valves with ship-lap joint to avoid double layers in the following materials:

polyurethane for cold insulation, high-density polyurethane (200 kg/mc) shaped for piping and equipment

supports, foamglas, calcium silicate, polystyrene, low-density polyurethane foam, phenolic resins, mineral

and/or glass wool.

- Supply or prefabrication of finished sheets for pipes, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, valves or supply of only

sheet coils and finishing accessories calculated on the basis of the requirements of the job.

THERMAL INSULATION

- Design, supply and insulation of thermal insulation, whether hot or cold, for piping equipment, special

components, boilers, tanks, etc.

- Insulation with special materials and techniques for components at extremely high and extremely low

temperatures.

- Design, supply and fitting of insulating cushions for turbines, valves and flanges, created with special glass

fibre, amorphous silica, siliconised, aluminised, stainless steel fibres etc.) resistant to high temperatures and

chemical agents.

ACOUSTICS

- Phonometric surveys accompanied by graphs, tables and reports relating to the environmental acoustic

impact of production activities and physically protecting the workers (as set forth in Italian Legislative Decree

81/2008 and subsequent amendments).

- Study, design, supply and fitting of soundproofing cubicles and sound insulation barriers - mobile or fixed

sound absorbers.

- Soundproofing of machinery, ventilators and air-conditioning systems.

FIRE PROTECTION

- Design, supply and fitting of systems for passive fire protection up to a fire resistance of 180.

- Sealing of penetrations of electric cables and tubes through application of various materials (adhesives,

foams, cements, etc.) and/or flexible fire seal sleeves (such as Bestobell or similar) with A 60 - H 120 - fire

resistance 180 certifications, for Off-shore platforms, petrochemical and steelmaking plants,

thermoelectric and nuclear power plants and industrial plants in general.

- Supply and installation of fire resistant barriers on electric cables and cable trays (CEI regulations 20-22)

- Supply and installation of fire doors, shutters, walls and barriers certified up to a fire resistance of 180.

- Protection of fire-resistant structural rods, chains and steel structures with fire resistance certification of

60-120.





ASBESTOS DECONTAMINATION

- Surveys and sampling of the air to determine the concentration of asbestos fibres present in the work

environment.

- Taking of samples of material containing asbestos and further laboratory analysis for the purpose of

classifying the composition, type and percentage of asbestos fibre.

- Removal and disposal of linings and insulation containing asbestos, initial and final sampling of the air

with release of the relevant certificate of removal to authorised landfills.

- Encapsulation of linings containing asbestos, with the purpose of preventing dispersal of fibres into the

environment, in the event removal is temporarily not possible due to production requirements.

- Removal and disposal of asbestos cement roofing (Eternit).
