o Rural Micro Enterprise Scheme (RME) for group and individual

A joint project of Kudumbashree, Health Action by People (HAP- an
NGO run by a group of committed doctors) & State Bank of India
Providing home based health screening facility in Body Mass Index,
Blood pressure & Blood Glucose
Entrepreneurs - science graduates from Kudumbashree
Neighbourhood families
HAP- provides seven day training for all entrepreneurs
Service providers equipped with two wheeler and mobile phone- visits
households and conducts routine checks

• EKSAAT (Education Knowledge Skill Aptitude And Training)– Master trainers-
• Entrepreneurship Development & motivation trainings to entrepreneurs, capacity building in general administration and management on Kudumbashree activities for Kudumbashree Community Based Organizations. 20 Master trainers.
• MECs (Micro Enterprise Consultants)
– Specially trained groups to capacitate entrepreneurs on business management and counseling. 31 MEC groups across the state.
• KAASS (Kudumbashree Accounts and Audit Service Society)– Audit team of Kudumbashree Mission guided by Chartered Accountants
– Auditing of accounts of Kudumbashree CBOs
– 43 support teams
• AIFRHM (Adebha Institute for Food Research and Hospitality Management)– Provides training in catering and hospitality management, preparation of
different recipes, customer management, the concept of service etc.
