Your request for approval of the Amendments to an Interconnection Agreement between BellSouthTelecommunications and Business Telecom, Inc. (BTI) was presented to the Commission for considerationduring its Regular Business Session on October 29, 2002.

After consideration, s Agreement since it is consistent with the standards ofSection 252 (a) (1) o t of 1996 and since it is not discriminatory and is consistentwith the public interest in that it promotes competition.

Consistent with previous Commission Orders, the Commission finds that the terms of this Agreement are not tobe considered as a precedential standard for other agreements, nor are they binding on any othercommunications carrier.
