Quick intro to Minecraft. Collaborate and communicate with peers to solve basic puzzles.

Learn about sustenance. What does it mean? How do you go about designing a self-sustaining village? What are the challenges?

Explore historical places like Rome, Greece, Egypt and India, complete quests, interact with historical figures & explore secret areas! Learn about culture science & architecture.

Continue exploration of historical places while learning about Digital

About Game Crazy

What Will Kids Learn? A custom version of Minecraft allows us to utilize custom maps and features to teach kids about citizenship – how to treat each other online. They will face situations where different groups of kids will have to work together to reach competing goals. In addition, kids will navigate different worlds, collect data, represent that data in graphs, learn about history & geography, multiplication and division, architecture and develop leadership skills.

What Age Groups Are Appropriate? Game Crazy’s Minecraft camp caters to kids of 6 years and older. Everything is provided, so your child does not have to bring anything to camp except their curiosity and imagination!

During the 4-day Game Crazy Minecraft camp, students will explore our vast World of Humanities. The goal is to EXPLORE, LEARN and COLLABORATE.

Kids will explore ancient civilizations, learn about history & architecture, interact with actual historical figures, discover fun books to read, complete lots of epic quests and even build their own parts of the world!

Most importantly, kids will learn about Digital Citizenship – how to create an online world that is responsible and respectful.

Students will use Edmodo to securely collaborate with each other, submit assignments & earn badges.

Once your child signs up for the class, please do the following before the 1st day of class:
