Locksmiths generally know how to duplicate an ID46 transponder on their cloning machine.But they may have not noticed or understood the difference in ID46 types. Your cloning machine should also display part number/s or type of 46 transponder.If your machine (JMA TRS-5000 EVO example shown) displays “PCF7936” this means the transponder is a carbon chip separate to the remote PCB (printed circuit board) - this means both are independent from each other.If your machine shows “PCF7941” (or PCF anything else other than 7936) this means the remote and transponder are integrated onto the same PCB.

These transponders are programmed to the vehicle diagnostically along with the remote functions at the same time like the Holden Cruze for example.Understanding this tip will help assist with making the right remote when using your URG200 (KD900 /KD200) and basically outlines the difference between “B” series and “NB” series remotes.“B series” = Separate remote functions to transponder (Manual or diagnostic procedure).“NB series”= Integrated transponder and remote functions (Diagnostic procedure only).
