Located in Kingston, Jamaica, in the heart of the Caribbean, the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (CGST) serves the entire Caribbean community. Their calling is driven by a strategic vision compelling them “to provide quality Christ- centered graduate-level education and training that is accessible, affordable, and applicable to the Christian constituency of the Caribbean, for the strengthening of the Caribbean Church and the transformation of society, for the glory of God.” CGST is happy to report that after a rigorous process of preparation, examination, and delibera- tion all five of their master’s programs have been accredited by the University Council of Jamaica, and the Caribbean Evangelical Theological Assn. After seven years of leadership, Dr. Las Newman stepped down to give more time and aention to research and teaching. Pray for the Board of Governors and the Search Commiee as they seek to find a new President. Dr. John Keane has assumed the position of Acting President. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY will be visiting the Bible Museum on Thursday, May 12. The group will meet in the GBC parking lot at 8:45 am to carpool to the Museum. They will stop for lunch at Cracker Barrel afterward. Any ladies planning to participate should contact Lynn Larson at 480-815-8716. A NEW FLOCK IS STARTING in the Sun City area.
