Section 1: Logging In

• Go to URL mmi.smartpros.com

• If you received an email with your login credentials, enter your username and temporary

password in the login box.

• If your firm provided a Library card and/or Coupon code to access the courseware, please see Section 3: Using Library Cards.

• If you are purchasing for the first time and do not have a Library Card or Coupon Code from your firm, see Section 5: New Student Account.

• Upon first login, you will be required to complete the My Profile pages, select your 3 security

questions, and update your password.

• After login, the “Update Personal Profile” page will appear. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory and need to be filled out to continue. All other fields are optional.

• A minimum of three security questions need to be chosen from the “Security Questions” drop- down menus. The respective answers need to be filled out in the right-hand fields. This helps to verify your identity for course accreditation processing and to assist you in the event of a lost password. Answers require an exact case-sensitive match; please make a note of them.

• Click NEXT at the bottom of the page to proceed to the following tabs. After selecting a new

password, your account has been created, and you will receive an email confirmation.

Passwords must be at least 6 and maximum 10 alphanumeric characters and have at least one letter and one number.

• After your account has been created, the MMI Terms of Service will appear. Please review and

accept the Terms of Service in order to access the MMI Continuous Learning Center.

• Refer to Section 6: Accessing Courses.

Section 2: Obtaining A Library Card & Coupon Code

• Your firm administrator will provide you with a Library Card and/or Coupon Code to access courses.

Section 3: Activating Library Card and Creating an Account

• Go to URL: mmi.smartpros.com • Look for the Login section on the left hand side of the homepage • Enter your Library Card Code and click on LOGIN.

Section 4: Redeeming your Coupon Code

• Click on the Wholesaler Training Center, and view the WTC Catalog, or use the arrow to go directly to the Series.

• Click on the BUY button, and you will add the subscription to your Shopping Cart. Enter in your

Coupon Code, click on Apply, and then Proceed To Checkout.

• If there is a balance owing, enter in your credit card information. Upon transaction completion, the subscription will be added to your account, and your courses are available for immediate access.

• Refer to Section 6: Accessing Courses.

Section 5: New Student Account

• Go to URL: mmi.smartpros.com • Click on Create An Account link in the top right navigation or underneath the login box .

Section 6: Accessing Courses

• Once logged in, click on the “My Courses” link on the left-hand menu. Access to your assigned Curricula or courses can be accessed through My Courses.

• For more information on the Wholesaler Training Center, click on the tab on the top navigation menu.

• Assigned Curricula will appear in the My Classroom section of the My Courses page. To open a list

of the courses, click on the + icon beside the name of the Curricula.

• This summary section will also display the number of courses in the Curricula, and show how many courses are In Progress, or Completed, as well as the Expiration Date of the Curricula.

• Once you have expanded the curricula, you will see a list of all the courses. To view a description of the course, click on the title of the course. To launch a course, click on the launch icon on the far right.

• If clicking on the course title, you will see a course description, and can launch the course using the PLAY button.

• Once the course has been launched, the course will open in a new window. Enlarge the course window if necessary so that you can see the navigation buttons on the bottom right hand side. You can also navigate using the Syllabus link. Use the video play button to start the course. You can complete the course at your convenience, but be aware that the video will re-start at the beginning if you close the course prior to completing the video.

• To obtain a copy of the PDF handout for the course, click on Syllabus, and then on the Resources link. You can download the PDF to take notes during the course or for further reference.

• After completing the video, and reviewing the Resources, click on the NEXT button to progress to

the Mark Course Complete screen. In order to complete your course, please click on the MARK COMPLETE button.

• Any feedback you have regarding individual courses can be provided using our optional survey on the MY CERTIFICATES tab.

Section 7: Accessing Completion Certificates

• To access completion certificates, click on MY CERTIFICATES, and click on the View/Print link.

• On the MY CERTIFICATES tab, once all courses have been completed, please click on the Take

Survey link to complete the mandatory Curricula Survey. After submitting the survey responses, you will be able to print the Curricula Certificate.

• Your curricula completion date will display on the MY COURSES/Grouped by Curricula page.

Section 8: Reports

• To run your student reports, click on Reports on the left-navigation, and select the report you would like. The report will populate automatically.
