Door Activation Open – Close – Monitor garage door

From menu , select “Door Control”

Door Activation:

Press the green button to open/close door

Door Status Refresh

Typically, door status will update automatically. However, every once in a while, it will not. To update

door status manually, swipe down on the screen to refresh it.

Multiple Garage Door Access

If you have access to other people’s garage door, then you should see some blue dots near the bottom of

the screen. Each dot represents a garage door you can control. The image below shows this user can

control 3 different garage door. Swipe left or right to get to the garage door you want to control.

Multi-User Access Grant/Revoke access to garage door

From menu , select “User Access”

“Owner Device Access” will show all the users that has access to your Nexx Garage device to control the

garage door opener.

“Other Grant Access” will show all the garage doors that other users have granted you access.

Granting Access

Tap the “+” locate to the right of “User Access”

Updating/Removing Access to your door

Tap on the user that you would like to update or remove access

Updating/Removing Access to other people’s door

Tap on the user that you would like to update or remove access

Door Activation History See the past 7 days of door activations

From menu , select “History”

If you have access to other people’s door, then you should see a “…” to the left of the screen title. Tap

on the “…” to access other people’s door activities.

Settings Notification – Reminder – Auto Open

From menu , select “Settings”

Door Open Notification

When the door opens, you will receive a push notification to your smartphone

Door Open Reminder

If the garage door is left open for more than 15 minutes, you will receive a push notification to your

smartphone. You will keep receiving this notification every 15 minutes until the door is closed or you turn

off the reminder from the “Settings” page.

Auto Open Door

When the Nexx Garage mobile app is running in the foreground or background, it will use your GPS

location to open your garage door when you are near your home. The distance to active garage door is

about 50 to 100 feet.

Configure Device Set device to connect to your WiFi

From menu , select “Configure Device”

Reset Device

This will reset your WiFi configuration on your device. If your device is currently connected to your WiFI,

then it will clear the configuration and the LED will be solid green. When you tap the “Reset Device”

button, you should see a screen like this:

You can now go through the same WiFi setup as before.

Update Device Location

This is to identify location of your home so that the Auto Open feature will work.

This will help us troubleshoot any of your issues.
