Support Class News
Picnic Day at the BasinLast Thursday, November 30th, the wonderful Steve and Dee of the Quays Marina transported 45 excited students, parents and staff from our 3 support classes across the water to the beautiful Basin!
There we enjoyed a lovely end of year picnic together, chatting, playing ball games and relaxing with a barbecue lunch. We feel very fortunate to be beneficiaries of the Quays Marina team’s generosity once again as the day allows our parents the very rare opportunity to relax and talk to each other away from all life’s other demands. The children have such a wonderful time playing games, meeting the local wildlife and enjoying the surroundings.
Many many thanks to all our parents who took time out during this busy end of year period to make the day so very special for all!

TLC News
An absolutely fabulous night was had by all at the TLC screening of Bad Moms Christmas recently. There were tears and there was laughter and through it all, we came together to raise an incredible $4745.44 for TLC.
An enormous thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, to all our raffle donors, our beautiful volunteers, without whom we could do none of this, and to everyone who couldn’t join us but sent messages of encouragement.
Great night, great people. Just great!!
Tender Loving Community (TLC) is a community organisation which provides practical support to members of the Mona Vale Public School community in times of medical crisis, for example, serious illness, severe injury or bereavement.
TLC was founded in early 2015 and has provided support to fourteen families since then. Services we provide include; organising meal rosters, meal deliveries, school lunches, cleaning services, laundry services, garden maintenance services, basic foodstuff delivery and more.
TLC is 100% volunteer-run, by parents in the MVPS community who are permanent (committee) and temporary (event) volunteers. Our revenue is derived from various fundraising events throughout the school year.
