At the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association, Sam Hoffman and Michelle Magazu networked while exchanging ideas and tapping into the wisdom and experiences of business marketing profesionals from local companies and agencies as well as business owners and consultants. A DAY IN THE LIFE

Interviewing for any job is definitely not all fun and games. As career agents we work to make sure that each candidate has a smooth interview process and learns what Mondo has to offer whether they make it to the final stage or not.

Being a part of CA proves quite interesting. We spend our days on the hunt for amazing candi-dates to join our team nationwide. We work with the managers in each office to make sure that we are finding the right candidates that have that Mondo DNA we need to strive in such a fast paced environment. Our success comes from sourcing through career builder, monster, Linke-dIn, Indeed and even social media groups.

Just as every team does, we have goals we set for ourselves everyday. Whether it is calling through our lists of candidates, lining up interviews or putting out offers we work hard to make sure that we get new Agents of Change into those seats as quickly as possible. As advocates for our candidates, we always want them to make it to that last step and receive an offer. The same you all work with hiring managers and clients, is the same way we work with all of the manag-ers you know and love nationwide. With a lot of communication and some persistence we can achieve the end result we want!

But the success doesn't stop there! Right now as we head into the fall and think about goals for 2016, we are working on attending career fairs, sales competitions and getting the Mondo name out there on campus so that we can find those amazing grads!

CA is here to help grow each office with the best candidates out there and your support will only help us get there!

ALICIA ROMANONYC, CAREER AGENTThink back to your first day at Mondo. Now think back a little bit further to the interview process and the steps you took to get yourself in that seat...

GIVE ME THE GOSSIP

QUOTE OF THE DAY“I don’t have a super PAC. I don’t even have a backpack” - Larry David feeling the Bern. He showed off his best Bernie Sanders impression on “SNL.” And it was good.

WHAT TO SAY TO YOUR FRIEND PLANNING A HONEYMOON...Maybe Hawaii isn’t paradise after all. Over the weekend, Hawaii’s gov. declared a state of emergency. That’s because Hawaii has a homelessness crisis - as in, it has the highest rate of homelessness per capita of any US state. Exactly what the tourism board would like to put on a t-shirt. Last week, Hawaii cleared one of the largest homeless camps in the US. Declaring a state of emergency will give the gov. more funds to set up permanent homes for them, and give people a place to lei down.

WHAT TO SAY WHILE BINGE-WATCHING “NARCOS”...In other kingpin news...Over the summer, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman – the head of a major Mexican drug cartel and a notorious drug lord – escaped from prison. He did it through a hole in his shower cell that led to a tunnel. El Chapo 1, Authorities 0. The Mexican gov.’s been facepalming, getting taunted on Twitter, and looking for him ever since. Recently, they got really close to catching him. Then didn’t. El Chapo 2, Authorities 0. He’s now reportedly injured. And the search continues. Meanwhile, El Chapo costumes are flying off the racks in Mexico. If it walks like El Chapo and talks like El Chapo...it’s probably just October 31st.

WHAT TO SAY AFTER A SECRET SUNDAY ‘KARDASHIAN’ MARATHON...Lammy seems to be doing better.

THING TO KNOW...ZombiCon: An annual gathering where human adults dress up as zombies. The fake gore got a little too real over the weekend in Florida when a shooting killed one person and injured five others.
