“Monte Alegre” Voyage 60 nb / 61 sb

We regret to advise that our m/v “Monte Alegre” voy 60nb / 61sb was involved in an accident on March 5, 2015 while inbound to Houston. The “Chembulk Houston” collided with the “Monte Alegre” causing above the waterline damage to the hull. No crew members were injured nor was there any damage to cargo or pollution.

The “Monte Alegre” was docked in Houston and once discharge operations are complete, will be taken out for service repairs. Mexican export cargo on board of the “Monte Alegre” en route to Cartagena, Colombia and South America East Coast will suffer delays.
