The MARECHAL ELECTRIC industrial electrical power socket has a built-in switching function called a decontactor. This technology makes it possible to connect and disconnect motors in absolute safety, with the ease of “Plug & Play”. MARECHAL ELECTRIC industrial electrical power sockets provide unequalled strength over time and guarantee fast and safe operation during maintenance work. They comply with the CEI EN 60309-1 standard, the European Low Voltage Directive and the ministerial order of 20/12/2011 covering movable electrical appliances and their conditions of connection and use.

DECONTACTOR™ technology: tested safety A socket and switch in one compact unit Simply pressing the button once cuts off the current and eliminates all risk of electrical arcing. The plug then withdraws automatically and the appliance is off-load. The safety of staff is guaranteed at all times.

Fast and safe connection under any circumstancesThe plug is held in the socket by a spring loaded latch. Once inserted, you are sure that the appliance will start up properly and that the plug will be watertight.When the plug is pulled out, a safety shutter, situated in the front of the socket, prevents access to the live parts.

IP66/IP67 sealingIP66/IP67 sealing is automatic as soon as the plug is inserted or once the cover is closed manually.

FASTER, SAFER, EASIER.Connection quality and life expectancyMARECHAL® products are fitted with spring-loaded contacts providing a permanent and durable contact.The silver-nickel tips at the end of the contacts provide exceptional connection quality and excellent resistance to wet and corrosive environments, even after years of use.Thanks to their overload tolerance of 8 times the normal current up to 1 minute, the decontactors are especially suitable for connecting motors, even with frequent restarting.

Improvement in control: integration of auxiliary contacts This option enables the ON/OFF position of the power socket to be signalled to the Centralised Technical Management. It can also serve to transmit data such as temperatures from an isothermal sensor.In the event of severe applications [high currents in dc, etc] these contacts can be used to control a switch.

User safety: mechanical lockingOptional locking systems prevent accidental power supply to a machine during maintenance,and fit perfectly into your consignment procedures.Once the DECONTACTORTM is safely disconnected, you can mechanically interlock the two parts already physically separated:
