Here are some tools that can help: Mailbox - Mailbox makes it easy to organize your inbox from your smartphone. You can quickly archive, delete or save messages for later. You can even add emails to your to-do list so you never forget about a message you don’t have time to address when it first arrives. The Email Game - The Email Game turns responding to and archiving emails into – you guessed it – a game. Skip an email and you lose 25 points; respond to one and you gain 175 points. You can also challenge yourself to sort through your email in a set time period. Unroll.me - Sorting through all the email you’ve subscribed to (or been subscribed to) can be tough. 4 Easy Steps To Put Some Shine On Your LinkedIn Profile

Here are 4 easy upgrades to make on your LinkedIn profile that should only take a few minutes to accomplish and won’t cost you a dime. Note: Before you make these changes to your LinkedIn profile, be sure to turn off notifications temporarily. Otherwise everyone you know will get a ton of updates as you make changes.

Step 1: Create A Great Profile Headline LinkedIn gives you 120 characters in your profile, so be sure to use them all if you can. You want to optimize for a few keywords in your headline while simultaneously making it readable and “click-worthy” at a casual glance. Your headline should not be your job title, although LinkedIn makes that the default. Step 2: Edit Your Contact Info Seems simple enough, but this is done wrong all the time. Use your direct company email address and phone number (no Gmail addresses or cell phones here). You’ll also want to customize the 3 allowable websites in your contact info. It is recommended to use your main company webpage plus 2 other related pages with good content (e.g. your blog, an offer page, your company’s Facebook page, etc.). Not only is this good for visitors, but these are also quality links to improve your website’s SEO. Step 3: Update Your Summary Your LinkedIn profile summary is one of the most critical components to fix. It’s critical that your LinkedIn summary should NOT read like a resume. You are not looking for a job. Write your summary in first person and speak directly to your target market. Your summary has room for up to 2,000 characters—make sure to use all of them.
